Human Chromosome - Specific Pan-Centromeric Probes
The STAR*FISH system provides an excellent method for the identification of single human chromosomes, and allows the detection of translocations and insertions on metaphase chromosomes. Marker chromosomes can also be identified and complex karyotypes analyzed.

These DNA probes identify the centromeric region of human chromosomes. They are ideal for the detection of aneuploidy and polyploidy, dicentrics, tricentrics, and other complex aberrations, as well as for general numerical chromosome analysis. All STAR*FISH Chromosome Paint systems are carefully tested for their cytogenetic performance as in situ hybridization probes. They are tested for low background intensity and batch to batch consistency. The paints are available in both concentrated and ready-to-use format.

The individual probes are available in packs of 10, 20, or 30 tests and have 3 labels to choose from: Biotin, FITC, or CY3.
