Open Biosystems is pleased to offer a set of cystic fibrosis cDNA
clones which we hope will help further the cystic fibrosis research
efforts. The development of these clones, made possible by a grant from
the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, was led by Dr. Bento Soares at the
University of Iowa, with bioinformatic analysis performed by the
Coordinated Laboratory for Computational Genomics directed by Thomas
Casavant. The finished collection contains more than 45,000 clones
derived from cystic fibrosis lung epithelial tissue, normal lung
epithelial tissue, normal lung cell line and a subtracted cystic
fibrosis library. All clones are in the pT7T3-Pac vector and the host
for all clones is DH10B.
Shipping Information:
Individual clones:
Clones are provided as ready-to-use live
culture in 2ml tubes. Each tube contains LB medium supplemented with 8%
glycerol and the appropriate antibiotic. Within 4-6 days of receiving
your order we will ship your clone at room temperature via express
delivery. Store the stock clone at -80°C.
Bulk Clone Orders:
Orders
of 50 clones or greater are provided in 96-well microtiter plates.
These will ship on dry-ice via overnight delivery and should be stored
at -80°C immediately upon receipt. Please contact our customer service
department for a quote and estimated shipping time on bulk orders.
