Druggable LentiORFs
an efficient path to drug target identification
Druggable genes (as defined by Hopkins and Groom1) encode proteins with domains that are known active sites for the binding of endogenous small molecules and have been found experimentally to bind drug-like (orally bioavailable) organic compounds.

Human LentiORF Druggable Sets each include more than 800 ORFs derived from genes that contain one or more druggable InterPro protein domains.1,2 Screening  with this subset of the ORFeome to determine which ORFs are also disease related is an efficient path to drug target identification.
