Gene targeting kits - Jaenisch
for inducible or constitutive expression of targeted genes

The Rudolf Jaenisch laboratory (MIT), a leader in gene targeting technology, has partnered with Open Biosystems to offer two novel kits for engineering single-copy gene targeted mice.

  • The Gene Targeting Kit for Inducible Expression (MES4758) enables titratable control of the mutant or wild type targeted gene with doxycycline. This kit includes KH2 mouse ES cells and appropriate vectors.
  • The Gene Targeting Kit for Constitutive Expression (MES4759) enables constitutive overexpression of the mutant or wild type targeted gene. This kit includes C2 mouse ES cells and appropriate vectors.
  • All ES cells and vectors may be ordered separately.
Shipping Information:

All kits and kit components are shipped on dry ice. ES cells should be stored in liquid nitrogen. Vectors should be stored at –80°C.

The references below should be used to cite the creation of the technology. Do not contact the source lab for these products. Please direct ALL product question to our technical support team.
