Announcing the Thermo Scientific Discovery Grant Program
This program has ended as of 09/15/09, 12:00 AM EST.
As
the leader in gene analysis solutions, we are proud to announce the
RNAi Discovery Grant Program created to advance RNAi-based discovery in
these tough economic times.
This unique
Grant Program will award more than $400,000 in RNAi-based reagents to
life science researchers. All life science researchers are invited to
submit grant applications describing research projects using RNAi-based
screening. Five awards ranging from whole genome RNAi screening
packages to gene family or pathway sub-libraries will be made to
researchers submitting research proposals for projects that have the
potential to significantly impact science and medicine.
- Awards include selections from industry-leading whole genome siRNA, shRNA and microRNA reagents from Thermo Scientific Dharmacon and Open Biosystems RNAi technologies

Other Programs:
Thermo Scientific Open Biosystems Open Access and Open Labs Programs
The Thermo Scientific Open Biosystems Open Access and Open Labs programs are designed to enable the life science community to advance their research through granting access to the latest genomics technologies and by
bringing novel genomics tools to market.
Both programs embrace the open-source philosophy of the Open Biosystems product team. Open Access enables large numbers of
investigators access to the most exciting and leading-edge technologies
available, through existing core facilities. Open Labs builds
relationships with leading labs from around the world to support the development of novel tools and genomic content.
Open Access Unlimited access to genome-wide resources of your choice by all researchers within a participating institution
Priority access to all extensions or upgrades of these resources
Open Biosystems supplies the storage system including the -80° degree freezer(s) and freezer racking system.
Access to a dedicated team of technical specialists for superior technical support
