The Expression Arrest™ Drosophila RNAi library-dsRNA constructs targets over 15,000 Drosophila genes with dsRNA constructs ready-to-go for RNAi experiments.
Features of this library include:
- High quality, transfection ready, dsRNA constructs target the entire Drosophila genome
- Primer selection for dsRNA probes with state of the art informatics tools
- Variable quantities (5-30ugs) of dsRNA available
- Cost-effective high throughput screening
The Drosophila RNAi-dsRNA library was developed by performing in vitro transcription reactions on the Drosophila RNAi-dsDNA template library. The library was validated by using a subset of the dsRNA constructs produced for knockdown studies. These RNAi studies were performed by and in collaboration the O'Farrell and Vale labs at UCSF. A test plate for the dsRNA library is available. This test plate contains 8 genes with well known RNAi phenotypes as well as a non-silencing control.
The
Drosophila RNAi library is also available as a
dsDNA template library.
Drosophila RNAi-dsRNA libraries are available in 96-well PCR plates. Plates containing frozen constructs are shipped on dry ice. For long term storage it is recommended to store the dsRNA at -70C. The dsRNA product can be stored at -20C for at least 3 months without any sign of dsRNA degradation.
