The mouse retroviral shRNA^mir genome-wide library covers ~28,000 mouse genes with multiple constructs/gene. Currently the library consists of 61,000 shRNA^mir constructs and broadly covers the mouse genome. The library will continue to grow, adding deeper coverage to genes currently represented and adding the few genes not already represented.

The mouse library can be purchased as individual releases 2.3-2.16 or the entire library (subscription). Each individual release contains~ 4800 constructs randomly arranged into 96 well microtiter plates. The mouse retroviral shRNA^mir library has been functionally annotated into biologically relevant gene families and pathways. The pie chart shows coverage by functional group (Silva et al 2005).
