Summary:

The successful candidate for this position will be part of a scientific team responsible for the development of viral vector based RNAi resources with an emphasis on screening applications.

Laboratory work:

Training in molecular biology or cell biology with experience in RNAi is required. The culture of mammalian cell lines, transfection and PCR is preferred. The ability to learn, design, perform and subsequently train others on new techniques is required.

The position will report to a senior R&D Scientist. Additionally, the position includes supportive roles in interactions with sales, marketing & technical support.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or other Life Sciences field required
• 2+ years proven successful laboratory experience
• Minimum of 3 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journal
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English required
• Outstanding organizational, planning, process development and interpersonal skills are required.
