Position: R&D Scientist I – Virology

Primary Function:

The successful candidate for this position will be part of a scientific & manufacturing team responsible for the implementation of large scale viral production of vector based RNAi constructs.

The position will report directly to a Senior R&D Scientist and includes the scale-up and transfer of the current viral production protocols to a manufacturing team. Additionally, the position includes supportive roles in interactions with sales, marketing & technical support.

The ideal candidate for this position will have training in a molecular biology laboratory with experience in the culture of mammalian cell lines, transfection protocols and PCR. Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required.

Position Requirements:

• M.s. or Ph.D.
• 1+ years industry experience or equivalent research experience
• Outstanding communication skills
