Applications:
Non-agarose secondary antibodies are approved for use in western blotting, ELISA, histo- and cytochemistry. Agarose secondary antibodies are approved for use in immunoprecipitation.

Anti-Guinea Pig Secondaries
All secondary antibodies are validated through assay specific applications testing and by electrophoresis confirming purity and identity. Labels are incorporated by the use of a variety of different conjugation chemistries.

All of the secondary antibodies offered by Open Biosystems are affinity purified and are offered with a large number of conjugate types (see chart below). Rabbit anti-guinea pig IgG, IgM, IgA
Affinity purified secondary antibody obtained from the immunization of purified guinea pig IgG, IgM, and IgA whole immunoglobins into rabbit. Serum is collected and purified by affinity chromatography against the same purified immunoglobins and negatively adsorbed against common serum proteins and tissue lysates removing other unwanted rabbit serum proteins.

Agarose Conjugated Secondary Antibodies
The affinity purified secondary antibody is obtained from the immunization of purified IgG, IgM, and IgA whole immunoglobins into rabbit. Serum is collected and purified by affinity chromatography against the same purified immunoglobins removing other guinea pig serum proteins. Antibody is validated through assay specific applications testing and by electrophoresis confirming purity and identity. Rabbit immunoglobin is covalently bound to agarose through the Fc portion.
