Description
1) Immunization of 10 SW and 5 Balb/c (15 mice total) over 11 week protocol
2) Primary Immunization, 3 boosts, test-bleed, ELISA titration*
3) Fusion of best five mice by ELISA and/or customer evaluation of crude antiserum
4) Screening by ELISA-based assay (negative screen included)
5) Evaluation of positive sups by customer
6) Expansion and freeze down of parental cell lines
7) Isotype confirmation of clones
8) Growth optimization and rate determination as related to antibody expression
9) Deliver of up to 15 best parental cell lines as frozen stocks
Total production time is approximately 4-6 months. Development is broken down into three phases, which defer costs at each step.
* Depending on the initial ELISA results, the mice may need additional boosts and bleeds in order to generate titers that meet our minimum requirement for fusions. This extension service is offered at no additional cost.
